The Ambassador of Luxembourg awarded the insignia of an Officer in the Order of the Oak Crown to Mrs. Aigul Kuspan, former Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

Moscow, 1 December 2021 - Mr. Georges Faber, the Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the Russian Federation, awarded the insignia of an Officer in the Order of the Oak Crown (Ordre de la Couronne de Chêne) to Mrs. Aigul Kuspan, former Ambassador of the Republic Kazakhstan to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (with residence in Brussels), currently the Chairwoman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

The award ceremony was held at the Embassy of Luxembourg in Moscow. This prestigious Order was established in 1841 by William II, King of the Netherlands and Grand Duke of Luxembourg. 

It is intended to reward outstanding civil or military services rendered by Luxembourg citizens to their country. In exceptional cases, it can be bestowed on foreign citizens.
